Please Help! Can a PR Card Holder get Job in U.S??

Hello. I have read many posts but have found conflicting answers.

Here is my problem.

My wife has a Canadian PR Card for 3 months . I am a born-Canadian citizen.
Wife is Computer Engineer degree from Pakistan and getting jobs in Canada SUCK but she is getting responses from United States!!
Can my wife get a visa to work in the United States? If so, then what type?
I read about the NAFTA-TN visa and I know that does not apply but there must be another way she can work in the U.S??
I would really appreciate some one who is PR card holder WORKING IN U.S to answer or some specialist in this field.

If your wife found job in US she should ask that company to help to get H1B visa. That company should be able to provide enough documents to support your wife.
