Please help - Applying for EAD, I have a question -- Please help

Hi ,

My 485 is pending at VSC and my h1b is expiring in March. I want to apply for EAD for the first time on my own. What should I fill in the I-765 application for item:

10. Alien Registration Number ( A-number) or I-94 Number (if any):

For this item do i need to fill the A-number I got with 485 receipt notice or Shall I just use the I-94 number? .

Any other information could help. I live in Connecticut.

Contact your Attorney. Don't invite unnecessary troubles by doing it yourself. I strongly recommend that.
 
I am sure its A number. Though I din't get an EAD, I filled it up for my wife.
But as "gcgcgcgc" suggested contact a lawyer.
 
You can apply on your own.

The application is very simple and you can apply on your own as it needs minimum documents. A-number is from I-485 receipt.

But in this forum most of the people are renewing on their own(including myself) but not for first time. If that means something better go through the lawer to feel comfortable.
