Please Help..Academic Training after J-1 waiver

I m masters student with J-1...I already got a waiver....

Some people says I can not start Academic Training ( like DS-Extension) because I have a waiver...
Can it be true???

If I start Academiic training, do I need one more waiver to apply H-1

I heard that you cannot have academic training after you acquired J1 waiver. Contact your ex-program officer. Please let us know what your officer says.

Any extension or update to your DS 2019 after you get waiver, you need to apply for another waiver. That what I heard and know..But it is good idea to double check this. I guess getting another waiver will not be a problem, since you already got one.
