Here's the situation:
The person marries a DV lottery winner in the USA and they both successfully adjust the status to LPR.
Then in the few years they get separated (not divorced yet) and the secondary applicant re-marries OUTSIDE the USA (in the home country of the NEW spouse)
The laws of the home country of a new spouse perfectly recognize their marriage since they only care about existing marriages in their home countries)
In two years the person gets officially divorced from the previous USA marriage.
Now the NEW spouse (primary applicant) wins a DV lottery .
Will the fact that the divorce took place after the marriage (outside the USA) posses a potential grounds for denial of the IV applications?
