please give me advise rearding tax filing

Hi,
My family was residing in one state and I was working in another state. Later we moved to another state with my family. My question is I didn't work in the state where my family was staying in the year 2003. Now I don't know how to file the tax to the state where my family was staying. Any advice is helpful!!

This might invite a IRS audit, but I think you need to pay tax only in the states where you earned money, unless you gave the address where your family lived as permanent address (W-2, paystubs, IRA etc) in which case you have to pay taxes in all three states.
Spend the 50-100 $ they demand in HR Block.
