Please give advice

Hi guys,
I am with L1A but my employer is not actually willing to file for GC on my behalf. Please tell me do I have some chances for NIW? What else can I do.
MSEE not US, 20+ years experience, electronics, instrumentation, HW - analog, measurement, digital, el. motors control and whatever you want. SW - many languages, huge amount of R&D, automation, autotune, adaptive, digital filtering, embedded systems HW/SW, and many others. No significant awards, no conferences, no international activities.
Please give some advice what can I do for my GC.

How about a different employer, may be competitor?

Why don\'t you try switching jobs to an employer who values you more than the current employer? Maybe your competitor? And apply via the LC process?

If you are a citizen of a country who is eliible for green card lottery you can try that route.

Thank you VVee, I know about this possibility. I am with L1 and I have to wait for H1 approval (first of course I need to find a better employer), whic probably could be later than october. My son is aproaching 21 (now is 19)and I am in a hurry trying to make my employer file. I play DV lottery but till now w/o success. I hope soon I will hear from INS for DV-2003 )) Probably I will wait a little more for my employer and will search for another employer. Actually my employer is not willing to file because he knows I would find immediatelly new better job and probably will start my own business.

Please tell me about LC process. I am mostly interested in any way of filing for GC myself. Any employer will try to delay or will not be willing to file for my GC.
