Can someone explain the steps of getting the GC.

I have already done these
485 ND -Apr 2003 (Medical was sent in at the same time)
fingerprints -Jul 2004
Bio Code 3 -Scheduled for Oct 26 2005

Whats next? After Bio am I supposed to just wait, if so, about how long?
Or do I still have to send something in later?

For me, they asked for RFI (new medicals and G-325A) as well as Bio code 3 and from that point until today, I have been waiting. There is variability in what USCIS does and how it handles/processes cases. Just respond to their inqueries as quickly as you can and wait.

As much as I know you don't send medical with your application but wait for USCIS to instruct you when to do so. In my case I applied Dec,2000 for my 485 & received my RFI for medical & updated biography on March,2005.
My FP code 2 was done on July, Code 1 was on last week. Now waiting.
To be honest with you there are no actual steps are follwed by USCIS for processing GC. I won't be really surprised to see you applied on 2003 whereelse I did on 2000 but your approval letter reaches you before me.
It's all luck my friend no timing nothing really matters.
