Hi,

I am newbee to this world. I got my LC filed on 01/14/2004.
Can some body please explain different acronyms used here.

SESA,DOT etc etc.

There is some case history discussed...Please explain how this works.

Thanks in advance
Prasad.

First of all in Which state your labor filed ?

SESA = SWA = State Workforce Agence = First Step Towards LC

DOL = Department of Labor = Regional Labor Department = Final Approving Authority

Each State has SWA/SESA & There are 9 DOL covering 9 regions (all states).

Check http://ows.doleta.gov/foreign/times.asp

Hi gp111,

Thanks for immediate response. My LC is filed in Chicago,IL.
How can I track my application status ?...Most of people here is giving exact dates...Please explain.

Thanks
Prasad

I believe the job requirements determine 140 category not the LC itself. A lawyer may have the option of using EB3 even when EB2 requirements are satisfied.
