- working on being reviewer for another smaller journal (not confirmed)
- multiiple travel awards to conferences but no national award

sorry, forgot to mention letters that I can get

- 6 from collaborators
- 1 from journal editor-in-chief
- 3 from overseas

thanks....will be filing at VSC.

For EB1-A they do not like letters from collaborators. If overseas letters are from your former supervisors or collegues, it is not good too.

Oversease letters are from non-collaborators, professor or chiefs of gastroenterology in Malaysia, India.

any advice?

Wouldn't it be also strange if no letters from collaborators or someone
in the current employer ??

I'm also preparing EB-1 OR and so far I have gotten 6 letters from
former collaborators, ex-advisor, and current boss. 1 letter from
non-collaborator who uses my paper in his class.

My lawyer never really wanted me to get letters from non-collaborators
but I've heard that I should get some from them.
Now I'm beginning to contact people who cited me in about 50 papers....
Hope some of them would write me letters....

How often are your papers cited ?
Are you personally invited by the journal to act as a reviewer ?
You need more excellent reference letters from top scientists who never worked with you before. Four are not enough, without anybody here in the US and europe.

- I am an invited reviewer for this US journal
- I have about 6-7 (and can get more) letters from US professors, journal editors etc - both collaborators and non-collaborators
- I am a panel member on conferences and symposia this year in the US and in 2 countires in Asia

I am just not sure if I should go for EB1-EA or try the OR....

thanks guys.

If you have the chance to go OR I would always try to go OR since it is much easier than EA. For both you should have a good number of citations from your papers to show your "influence" on the scientiftic community.
