People on this forum said that the paper-based filing of EAD does not require fingerprint for EAD approval, e-filing of EAD needs to make appointments for fingerprints for EAD approval. But some people said they receive the FP notice for 765-EAD even though through paper-based or on their receipt it indicates they need FP for their EADs. Meanwhile, others got their EAD approved without FP. Futhermore, some e-filer said they have their thumb print on their EADs through their e-filing.
