Pne of my previous employers is continuing my green card process. it was filed 2.5 yrs back iunder EB2 RIR and it seems it will be clear sometimes by next month .
I recently joined another big company and want to continue with them, on the other hand i think in just few months i should also be able to file I-140 from my previous employer.
My Previous emmployer has no problems if I continue with current company and they are still OK to continue my green card processs.
I want to know , is that OKAY from INS point of view that i continue my green card process and file I-140 and then later I-485 once I-140 isapproved.
I dont want to have EAD asap so I am not in the hurry of filing both 140 and 485 together, but to be on the safer side i want to continue my Green card with my previous company.
Please advice me, if it is not going to give me a problem in future since i am not working with my previous employer anymore.. May be on completely approval of 140 and 6 months passing on 485 after 140 approval(if all goes fine till that time ) , I would like to join them , but not right now.
is this okay ,, or that will not be acceptable by INS . I want to know so that based on that I should either spend money with my lawyer for the green card process or not.
