Please avdise where to file I-485?? Nebraska or district office!!

Please read my approval notice and advise me what does it mean? Do I need to file I-485 with Nebraska or with "district office". I was approved under EB-2 NIW category.

I have my I-140 approval letter. It says " He or she should contact the local INS office to obtain form I-485, Application for peremanent residence. A copy of this notice should be submitted with the application, with appropriate fee, to this service center........"

What does this "Local INS office mean?" Is it Nebraska or the "District Office"?? I am little confused.

All they are asking is if you need I-485 Form you have to go to Local District office to get it. You can also download load it from www.USCIS.GOV. If you are staying in the area services Nebraska you need to file ate Nebraska Service center.

Employment based I-485 are not filed at local district offices.
