Please,any recent RTDs?

hi again,

I applied for an RTD in February and still did not get it. (my current RTD is valid until late august).

1.Did anyone receive their RTD recently and if so when it was applied for?
2.Did anyone recently get RTD while the previous one was still valid?

Your current RTD expires in Aug.how can u apply for another so early in Feb?I think this is the reason why you're not getting it.

Well the I-131 application states very clearly that a RTD can not be issued to you if you possess a valid RTD, but there is 2 exceptions I believe. An RTD can be issued to you if the previous RTD still valid in the conditions if the current RTD is returned to the USCIS or you loose your valid RTD and you have to send USCIS the police report.
That is why you still have not receive another RTD. Right now it is taking 30-60 days (perhaps less) to get a new RTD, but you applied in February and yours still valid, I don't think they will mail you another RTD until the expiration of yours.

Plus the last time I renewed my RTD I had to mail USCIS the expired RTD...

my friend RTD mailed in 61 days to be exact. recv date feb 06

Current Status:

On April 8, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.


i applied for mine while my RTD still valid immigration received my application

on march 14 .

I haven't received mine yet and I applied 2 months ago.
My RTD should expire this May.

those concerned about applying for RTD while having one still valid:
I applied every year for very many years and would have RTDs which overlap because it took INS about 5-6 months to reissue. last year it took me 6 months so I applied early this year.

1. I got main just 2 days ago. The ND for RTD was February 10, 2006.
2. My RTD was expired in December 2005, so I've sended it with my application.
Don't worry you will get it.
