I know that the employment-based green card application is based on a future job offer but I am not sure what this exactly means. Do I need to take that job position (promotion) as soon as 485 gets approved? Or it only requires the employer to prove the position is real and available? (If so, how to do it?) If my guess is not right, could somebody tell me what it is?
I am asking this because my future job will require a Professional Engineer license but I am not certain when I could take the PE exam.
