this matter is really confusing. Need some advise please help.
A guy has been sponsored for emplyment in 2001 and is awaiting interview anytime .
The sponsor is a proprietor/owner of a small business and the busness is not a corporation.
The other fact is that the sponsor is a distant relative of the person being sponsored(ofcourse that is not mentioned in the petition as it is employment based) The application was filed in 2001.
The sponsor/employer got very ill in 2003 and couldn't handle business matters and handed the business over to another family member in october 2003.
Now the sponsor is debating if he/she should take back the business or just allow the situation to remain as is as te sponsor is still not too well.
The other problem is that the person who is handling the business presently is the brother of the guy who is being sponsored.
the sponsor will take the business back on his/her name if it will affect the case but ther eis little time and the interview date may be coming up anytime.
please advise if the transfer of owndership will hurt the application.should teh sponsor take back the business onhis/her name ??. thanks
