I worked in the US till May 2003 and I have an approved H1 valid till March 2006. I came back in June 2003 to stay for sometime and due to personal reasons my stay got extended till now. Unfortunately I did not got stamped that H1 and still it is valid till March 2006. Under this situation I would like to apply for visa. I am working in India for a good company, but since my H1 period is getting close I would like to try to go back to USA. Can I apply for stamping or try to transfer the H1(Is it possible in this situation).
I am in desperate situation to come back, what are my options. How long it will take to complete my process to get the visa if everything goes fine.
What problems I will face at the embassy. All I have is the complete set of H1 approved papers and last paystubs till May 2003.
