My husband is MMBS from India. He is completing MRCO (from London) by Nov 2002. I am in the final stages of approval of I-485 and hence he would have his card too on "Follow to join" basis as in India now. Would he have to take USMLE all the steps and get into residency program before he could practise.

Yes.

There is no reciprocal agreements between USA and UK or India. Therefore, he\'ll have to pass steps 1 and 2 of USMLE and CSA before he will be accepted into US residency program.
