I am an employee of company A (It holds my H1). I (and spouse) filied concurrently through another company B using labor subs for future employment. I'm planning to join B after I get at least 140 cleared. We have got the EAD cards. It is not yet 6 months since I filed.

Now, can I do this?
1. My spouse starts a company using EAD and I join it based on my EAD as an employee. I'll get paid regular salary and stuff.

Do you see any problems in this scenerio? In what ways can it affect our 485 processing?

you can work where you want and for who you want using an EAD
But you will null and void your H-1B if you use it.

U r just having H visa from company A or they have also sponsored u for GC?

Ur EAD is from company B I guess. anybody can open a new business[company] even on a H1 visa. U can work for ur wife's company as employee
on EAD but u mentioned that u also want to work for company B.
do u want 2 jobs at same time? u can work for comapany B and
ur wife's company on EAD at same time.

Two years before some one tried to do the same thing in Chicago. His case was transferred to local office and application was straight away denied. I think he was given suggestion that he should have filed in the investor category. There is risk in that route.
