Please advise on H4 visa.

Friends,

My H1 visa is going to expire on April 9th, 2004. I am going to india on Jan31 for my marriage. My wife will go for H4 stamping in Feb 2nd week or so. I have applied for h1 visa extension and I may get the receipt notice before I leave to india.

Does the consulate ask about the H1 visa expiration?

My wages in 2002 fell short to the required LCA (40K). Will they cause any problem for H4 visa now As we need to show W2 alos now?

I think they will be checking for your VISA and it should be valid for 6 months. But I am not sure thought..
