Please Advise Needed

 I am resigning after my 485 has been transferred to local and before approval. Please advice on possible ways to go for interview without employer letter.
(I485-PD, OTHERS 6/30/97; RD 4/27/00; ND 5/30/00; FP 1/23/01).

You need to get letters from you rnew employer proving that the job is similar to the original position. As long as responsibilities, pay & requirements are similar, you should be fine. I do suggest sending a letter to INS letting them know that you are changing jobs. Take a copy of this letter with you to interview. I suggest this because INS has said that the onus is on you to inform them. Also if your current attorney isn\'t very capable, hire a new one to ensure that you are adequately prepared. This is a new set of guielines and even though you are in the clear, your lawyer backing you up at the interview should help.

Carry a copy of the 180-day rule (Changing job after 180 days) copy
with you , when you go for the interview.

Which is your local INS office ?
When was your case moved to the local office ?
Did you get any letter to appear for an interview and if got a letter how much time did the local INS office take to send you the letter.
