Please advise - misplaced orig H1B form at the airport

I am currently visiting India. I am supposed to go to Mumbai embassy to get my passport stamped for a multiple entry. I misplaced my original H1B receipt. What the solution? I have left a message for my attorney and with the employer. Haven't heard back from them. What should I do?

I had the same situation before but I was in US at that time. My attorney had to apply for duplicate H1-B receipt and it took like 3 months to get. The best thing for you to is to stay in Mumbai until you get duplicate receipt notice from your attorney.
