I got a courtesy letter yesterday that my I-485 had been approved. I did not recieve one for the wife but the online status check says both of us r approved.

Q is :
what docs do I take to the JFK building in Govt Center

What is the deal with the new photos

do I need to take any money with me

My wife is visiting India on AP so she would have to come back and appear fo Pasport stamping

Please give your recent experience in Boston local office

by the way --- GO RED SOX (half that team is made of naturalized citizens) that is immigrant power

You don't need any money.
BCIS now accepts only the passport stayle pictures, those funny side face is not acceptable anymore.
Take all you I 94's, AP's and EAD's. Its really quick, as all they do is take all your docs, take your fingure prints and signatures 2 times and stamp your passport. I got this done at Philadelphia office and had no problems at all. Good luck.

do u need approval notice or can we go directly to philadelphia office for stamping with out appointment?bcaz we r leaving dec1 to india.is it possible within 10days or better after getting back go fot stamp?
