Hello All,

Could you please advise me on the following situations.

I have switched employers since I last came to US. My H1B Visa stamp is valid till next year. Can I return to US without re-validating my VISA?

My wife has gotten employment and is now on H1B VISA. Her VISA stamp shows H4B ( with my ex-company ) . Does she have to get her VISA updated with H1B or can she also come back to US with her H4B VISA?

You can continue to use your existing H1 visa until it expires; you do not need a new H1 visa simply because you changed employers.

Your wife however will need a new H1 visa stamp in order to get admitted on H1 status (otherwise she cannot work!)
 
Thanks for the response. I wonder why my wife should change her VISA stamp. She came on H4 and is working now on H1B.

Can't the status quo continue when we go to India and come back.

For your wife to continue to work under H1b, she should be admitted under H1b at a US port of entry. One needs a h1b visa in order to get admitted under h1b.
