Please advise - Green Card Labor Certification

Can you guys tell me what the average time an attorney takes to file the Labor Certification with INS (RIR). I am concered I am getting ripped of by my attorney.

Labor cert is filed with DOL and not with INS. This is the first step in the process of your GC. The timing varies from state to state. From which state you are filing your labor?

I did mean to say DOL. Anyway to clarify, my question is how long does an attorney take to file it with the DOL? Not how long the DOL takes to approve the case.

He/She needs cooperation from you and your office though.

It can be quick if the forms are completed

The amin delay is in RIR cases. If the case is an RIR, there could be advertising issues but even if handed a complete advertising and response packet, the job posting must be up for 10 consecutive business day.

The process could be up to six months if it is a RIR and no recrutiment has been done.
