Please Advise: File Aos Or Continue With Cp

Hi all,

The receipt date for my NIW at CSC is second week of January 04 and I have still not heard anything as the current processing date is March 10.

I had opted for CP Mumbai in my I-140.

I dont know how long this is going to take. My lawyer says we can take a chance by changing to AOS, so that at least we can get EAD.

Even though my current H1b expires in January 2006, obviously I would like to get my GC as soon as possible.

What should I do? Should I change to AOS? Or continue with CP?

You are probably better off listening to your lawyer than anybody here as he is familiar with your case. In any case, those processing dates aren't worth a darn thing.
