Please advise: Approval notice sent

hello!

I’ve received email today stating Current Status: Approval notice sent.

my question is, are they sending me an actual permanent green card? meaning can I finally go home and visit my family and friends after all these years when I receive THE letter, that they supposedly sent out today?

I still don’t actually believe it.............Can I go buy airplane ticket ASAP?!

You have received email "Approval Notice Sent". You will get the notice in a week or so. Meanwhile you will get another email within a day to two stating" Card Production Ordered" and you can expect to receive the card within 30 days. Once you receive the card then you can have your passport stamped.

Sounds like, once you received your approval notice. You can have your passport stamped. (for the time being before you getting your plastic card).

But if you are getting the plastic card somehow sooner than the paper notice or about the same time. Don't bother for the passport stamped becaz the card is for everything.
