Need your advise based on your/ others experiences.
My I 140 was filed and immediately transferred from USCIS, CA to Vermont back in Nov'02.
We did not hear back anything and inquired with CA office. They advised us 4 months back that case is transferred to VT and hence to contact VT office directly.
USCIS,VT did not give any new receipt #. Attorney has sent lot of inquiries (mail & phone) but resulting in no results. I sent email to MA senator/ Governor last week for help. No word from there either. Attorney has no other plan to escalate this case as they have used all the channels.
Can someone please advise what would be the best next plan of action? Your help is greatly appreciated.
