My sister has done M.Pharm from a reputed University in India.(Altogether 6 yrs of Pharm education)
I would appreciate if someone can please guide us
1) What is the first step we need to take to get License/employment in USA?
2) How much time is needed to fulfill the testing /credits requirements etc?
3)Any useful websites suggested to get more information on exam study materials etc?
4) Total cost involved
5)Any such information is most welcome.

Thanks a lot !

The first step to get License is get a Equivalency on your qualification. So o on the nabp.net website and click on Foreign graduate exam (FPGE) .This outlines all the documents you will need to get together for the application.
Download the application and send all paper work only once all the requirements are fulfilled. If there is any glitch or information missing it will cause a huge delay in the process of gettng an exam date.
Once all your paper work is one National Pharmacy Board will issue a date to sit the exam. After passing this exam you will have to do 1000 to 1500 hours of internship work
Next step is to sit NAplex exam which is a standard exam given by all graduate pharmacist to obtain License.
and depending on which state you will end up working........other requirements may follow.
The total cost of this I dont know. But the applcation to sit the FPGE exam is around $1000 US dollars. I think . however the website could answer these questions for you more precisely.

what state are you looking into moving?
wish your sister luck with your application and plans
