Please advice..(US Citizenship)

Hi gurus,

My friend is a US citizen and he wants to bring/sponser his mother,age is 75 years,currently living in India,to the US.But,his monther has legally adopted a boy a couple of years ago and she insists to bring that boy also to the US,he is below 18 years.


Can anyone please advice is there any immigration law that allows that boy to become a US citizen and enter US along with his monther.


Any advice is highly appreciated.

Here is my two cents.


The US citizen can apply Green Card for the boy but it is long waiting time, 10 years.

So, this boy has to apply for visiting visa or F-1 in India by himself.
