Please Advice regarding I140/I485. Gurus Help!!!!!

Guru please help!

Can you have labor approved from Tennesse/Atlanta
(Texas Region) and apply for I-140/I-485 at
Vermont center?????

My attorney has done that and I am not sure if thatz
correct. I need experts advice.....

I live and work at client site in New Jersey.
My H1B visa is from Vermont.
My employer is at Tennesse.
My labor was filed/approved from Tennesse/Atlanta.
My I-140 was filed at Vermont and my I-1485 is
current filed at Newark, NJ office. (Vermont requested
to file I485 at local Newark office.)

Is this correct?

Any help would appreciated.......

485 is always filed from the place you reside in. Hope this helps

I called my attorney today and she said the job
position is in NJ and you live there hence your
I-140 and I-1485 was filed in Vermont/Newark office.

Hope it's right. I will cross my fingers until I get my
I-140 and I-1485 receipts.
