Please Advice: I should use EAD or H1 transfer

RD:9/27/2002
ND:10/15/2002
FP:10/30/2002
EAD:5/1/2003

I want to change to another company in a month. Should I apply for H1 transfer or use EAD? I heard if I485 is denied, EAD will be terminated immediately and I should leave the country within 10 days. However if I use H1 transfer instead, I can still stay in us even I485 is denied.

Research on a similar post a couple of days ago. But as SillyMan says h1 is the way to go.
