Please advice: EAD or H1?

I will change job after 180 days of I485 submission.I have already had EAD now. Do I have to ask new employer to apply H1-B transfer for me? Can I continue to use EAD to work for new employer? if so, do I have any potential risk?

My details: ND 03/01, FP 08/01, waiting for approval.
 
Yes, you can use your EAD to work in new company

That\'s is what a EAD for: authorized to work. You don\'t need H1B anymore. Since your 485 filing time already exceed 180, you basically are free now. But I am not sure what to do with the reference if there will be any. This is only my personal opinion based on the 180 rule, no legal responsibility.
