Please Advice Critical situation

I got my H1 approved. I took an appointment for myself, my son & my husband for an interview.
Now my friends are saying if i go for interview with my husband there are chances that i may not get visa.
They are asking me to cancel my husbands appointment & go alone or along with kid for the interview. What should I do, Please advice.
 
Which consulate you will be appearing?
Usually male visa's were issued based on security clearance.
It is advisable to go for your and kids stamping and your husband can go as your dependent later.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will be appearing in Mumbai consulate. If there is something important that i should know before appearing for the interview please do let me know or if u can send me some link to prepare for the interview i will appreciate.
