Plastic cards and postal mail.

Do the plastic cards come by regular US mail or registered mail? Can anyone please certify that?

Also, if any one happens to be out of the country and asks the local post office to hold the mail, should there be a problem as far as bouncing back of the mail? Has anyone does this and received cards while they were away on vacation.

Please let me know.
