I wonder why NSC is taking several months to issue the card after the approval?

I thought BCIS is now making every attempt to give out the card asap
(even plans to issue within a week !).

We got our stamping done a while ago. Not heard anything so far!
Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks. :confused:

As long as the stamp and the passport are valid, you don't have to be concerned. (It might take longer time to pass immigration since they have to look up your record). Make sure you get a new stamp before the stamp or passport expire. If you need to get a new stamp, use that opportunity to check the status, mailing address, etc. to be sure that everything is correct at BCIS. Good Luck.
 
I got my PP stampped at DTW couple of days back. Does it matter if my case is CP case or regular I-485 case when it comes to delay in getting Plastic Card?
