plastic card without stamping!!!

hello,

back in august me and my family got approved except my 10 year old son. We went on stamping and he received an RFE,,, they asked for photos, saying the ones we sent with the application were outdated. So we sent the photos and now we got a letter saying that he doesn't have to go for stamping and that his card was ordered. His online status says the case # cannot be found...

Our online message just says we have been approved...

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Same happened in my son's case

He got his card in exactly 2 months. We got approved on 5th aug'2003 and he got his card on 7th oct without stampin'. Because INS sent him welcome letter instead of approval letter. You can expect your son's card any day from now.
