Plastic Card Update

Please advice
I got my passport stamped on Aug 23rd, 2004. The status was changed to "Processing for your alien registration card or green card is complete. BCIS will be mailing you the documents as soon as they are ready" on Oct 8th, 2004. After that no change. Any body has any suggestion. I called the NSC and initiated a case on the 25th of october (60 days passed by that date). They said service center will contact me in 3-4 weeks.
Any body with similar case. What else I need to do ? I am doing FTJ for my wife and by the time she gets an interview call, I need to have the card. I am getting nervous and donno what to do ?

LUD: Changed almost daily from 11/09/04, with status change as indicated above.
“Resident Since” date is date the 485 was approved.
“Card Expires” date is 10 years from date of card order.
Total time from filing of labor certification to receipt of plastic card: approx. 26 months.

Seeking answer from anyone in here who has landed with Immigrant Visa at POE after CP:
Is there a way to check the card status online like AOS applicants do? CPers don't have a receipt no. from USCIS service center. Instead the last case no. they get is from NVC followed by A-number at POE.

There are two ways to know the plastic card status.
1. Go to Cptracker.com and select POE(port of entry) as yours and look for the past trend.
2. Wait for the welcome letter. In WL they mention the new case number assigned to issuance of plastic card and then you can track from USCIS website.

DOE: 6th Nov.
SSN card received for me and my wife.
Waiting for Plastic cards.
