Plastic card through the CSC

I got my Passport stamped may 12th 2002 and my case status was updated to the ff about 2 months ago

Current Status:

Processing for your Alien Registration Card or Green Card has been completed. Your INS document will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.



i have not received my GC as yet. Anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to find out what happened to my plastic card? Any help will be appreciated .

You can talk to an IIO

and ask the IIO if your picture and signature have been scanned. Some people got stuck because the scanning had not been done. I have heard of cases where the file had been sent to storage.

I would definitely start by calling them, this is a very long time. Sometimes they also get an undeliverable card problem, and even destroy the card. Again, call them and see in which category your case fits.

Let me know where you will be calling , Is it INS national service center i.e. 1-800 number or CSC's number i.e. (949) 831 8427.
1-800 number guys doesn't know any shit, I called them and they said call after 6-8 weeks and after 6-8 weeks they said call CSC.
 
Call the CSC number

CSC's number (949) 831 8427.

Give them the I-485 WAC number.

In my case I was approved on February 2002, applied for the card one week after approval (Mail took a few days to arrive). Got the card at the end of June 2002. I called them 3 or 4 times to make sure everything had been scanned and that nothing seemed wrong. I got the cards at around the average time of other people who applied at the same time I did.

In my case, all members of my family got the card at the same time (in the mail), although one of us got the card actually produced two days later than the others.

I saw that the pace of card production picked up later and they were getting the card in a few weeks or a little over a month.
