Hi

Is it possible to get the passport stamped at any location other than the address mentioned in the Approved papers.

I have filed in Texas when i was living there.I then moved to NJ but i kept my friends address as mine in Texas.today my 485 got approved,.Do i still need to goto texas office or can i get it stamped in NJ itself.pleae help.

What are the documents that ins will ask for..

List of Documents.

This is the List of Documents you will need for stamping.

1) Your passport ( valid for 6 months or longer )
2) Your Approval notice ( courtesy copy is just fine )
3) Your 1-94
4) your appointment letter ( infopass appointment )
5) All EAD's
6) All AP's
7) Two Frontal Pictures with your name and A# written in the back with a PENCIL .

Thats pretty much it.

Its relatively a very easy process and it should not take more than 15 minutes.

Good luck on your approval.
