post your experience at the washington dulles. I plan to come through dulles only. I just want to know ur experience with the immigration authorities etc.,
There were two lines. One for US citizens. Other for non-US citizens. Joined the second line. Had to wait 15 min in line because we were the last. Gave the brown envelopes with IV and the passports to the Immigratiion officer. He asked couple of questions like which company I work for and how long we were married and chatted a little about arranged marriages. In the mean time he broke open the envalopes and criticised the poor quality of the paper the envelopes were made of. He stamped the passports that said \'admitted on date\' and immigration post. He asked us to go to a room with the IV papers and passports for further processing.
Deposited the papers and passport in one of the empty racks for their processing and sat there. After another 10 min wait, were called by another officer for signature and fingerprint. Screwed up the signature and had to do it again on a new form. He gave us the passports with I-551 stamp and told us we were all done.
