Plastic card received! ---AC21 case!

My case was AC21 related. Got interviewed on 09/20/01 and approved at same day. Got the cards for me and my wife yesterday, 01/03/02. This board is so helpful and good luck to everyone still waiting for their plastic card!

Please shed more light on your experience with regard to AC 21.
Service center?
Worked for >180 days with sponsor?
How (and when) INS was notified?
How similar are your new and old position?
Did AC21 prolonged I485 processing?
Anything else out of the norm?

AC21 Case

485 ND: 09/12/99; Service Center: VSC; Job Changed: 08/29/00; INS was not informed; Finger print done in Syracuse, NY on 03/18/01; RFE was mailed to VSC and requested case transferred to local office which under jurisdiction of CSC on 04/15/01; got interview notice from local office on 08/22/01; got interviewed and passport stamped on 09/20/01; got the plastic card on 01/03/02. The new job is exactly same as before. Except the delay by the AC21 guidance memo (~6 month delay), everything seemed pretty normal. Hope info is helpful:

So, did you (or lawyer) tell INS in response to RFE or at any other time about new employer and new position?

REF

The response to the REF was provided by my new employer and on that employer letter it clearly stated my new job description which happened to be the same as before. Good luck!
