Hi All,

I recently recd. the plastic card. Would it cause any harm to the card itself if I make a non-color copy of the plastic card for the purpose of proof-of-record just in case (God Forbid !!) the card is lost ?

Is it illegal in any way to make a non-color copy ? I know of atleast one copy-place that does not allow its customers to make color copies of IDs.

Could some one pls. share some info. on this.

Thanks in advance.

Did you ever make a copy of drivers license or credit card?
If so, did it "cause any harm" to it?
I am sure you would have made copies of license at some point. Did it say invalid when you tried to use while writing cheques at local stores? Come on man...

Take it easy...You can make copies as many as you want to. Kinkos does not allow to make color copies of government documents. So what, you can scan the GC..print it on a color printer..then keep it for your records...None can stop you from doing that. :) I did the same thing. So far, none have arrested me. If they do, I will try to let you know.

No offense, how muchsoever we all went through to get the card..it is JUST A CARD...its not life..
