Plastic card processing time 6-12 months

I just got my Passport stamped today in Arlington VA.
The IIO inform me that the Processing time for the Crad is 6 to 12 months.
But my roommate who got stamaped 3rd week of Sep got his Card yesterday.

Don't understand what to believe....:rolleyes:

YOu will get the card in 1-2 months

That's what they usually say because they dont want people calling and bothering them again and again.
VSC sends plastic cards within 1-2 months from Passport stamping.

My stamping was done at the local Houston office.
Will the form I signed and fingerprinted be sent to
VSC or will my card be ordered from somewhere
else?

I know this is a stretch, but if you could hazard a guess!

Plastic Card

The plastic cards are all processed from the same place (somewhere in Kansas or Kentucky). You should get yours within 4-5 weeks at the most.
 
Iyan, Your experience in Staming

I am planning to go to Arlington VA for stamping next week.
I have two questions for you.

1. Could we go for stamping on any day.
2. If you could provide some guide lines how to get it done (like how early we have to go and what kind of line to stand in , etc) it would ge great.
