I had posted the following question in the forum "The Physical Green Card" but did not get any response. Hoping to hear from someone here.
Passport was stamped in the last week of June 2004, but still haven't received the plastic card. Had sent an inquiry - the response was that the card was mailed and never returned to the mailer. So basically its lost now.
I have 3 questions:
1. Will I have to get a new stamp on my passport before the present one expires (June 2005)?
2. If I apply for a new card (Form I-90), can I get away with not getting the passport restamped even if the card doesn't arrive before the stamp expires?
3. Has anyone applied Form I-90 - If so, how long does it take to get the card?
