Planing to change employer after 183 days of RD

After >183 days of my 485 Receipt Date, I'm currently employed, and planing to change employer, from senior software support engineer to senior MIS engineer in another company. It should be OK as I understand. But after checking through many forums, seems nobody really doing it.

Is there any hidden risk? Anybody did this?

Mt RD is 1/31/2002. I have done FP, received EAD and advanced parole. Just waiting for the final decision from INS.
