EAD is going expire next week
Applied for extension/renewal of EAD on Sep-14, 2002,
so I think I have to wait for another month to get an
EAD from sub-office.
485-Status:
Receipt Date: Sep 9th, 2001
Checked with INS last week, INS officer informed that
case is assigned to officer on Oct 30th and I should
hear within two-three weeks from assigned date, no
word, no change in AVM or no letter from INS yet!
Here goes my dilemma, should I tell my company that my
EAD is going to expire and ask them to take me out of
pay roll and put me on vacation till I get my EAD
probably for a month, but still I would come to work
as usual and company can pay me at later time or when
I am actually on vacation.
Does it sound reasonable! I had been debating this for
a while but not very confident with the approach/plan,
would be great if some one can help me in taking
correct approach or some minimal risk approach. Please
any comments are fine.
