I am looking for help regarding a PIO or long term Visa for a Canadian Citizen of Srilankan Origin married to an Indian Citizen. Officially, they say that a perosn can apply for PIO based on spouse, being an Indian. But i guess Srilanka is excluded in the list.? But, I have also heard incidents where a PIO has been granted on special grounds. But no direct info.Anybody in the same boat?. Any relevant details like contact/how to go about is truly appreciated.
