Has anyone applied for a PIO card by mail to the CGI NY?
I want to apply PIO for my kid since it is supposed to come faster than the OCI card.
One of the required documents, it states on the CGI Website is notarized photo copy of childs birth certificate if applying by mail.
But in many US states making photo copy of birth certificate is not legal and no one agrees to notarize it.
Not sure if sending the original is the best option.
Can anyone please share their experiences.
