My daughter is 1 year old and she has a US passport and we the parents have Indian passports. My daugther's passport expires in 5 years. We have a confusion that what happens to PIO card when the passport expires as it states "A PIO Card shall be valid for a period of fifteen years from the date of issue subject to the validity of the passport of the applicant". Does it mean we have to renew the PIO after 5 years. If so, where can I find more info about renewal fees?

The PIO card is valid for 15 years. Just make sure that you renew your daughter's US passport before it expires and the PIO card/visa will remain valid.

Sounds to me like its saying the PIO card is only valid when presented along with a valid passport. That does not mean you need to get a new PIO card just because you had to renew your passport.
