Sorry for asking these questions. The topic has been discussed before but my queries are a bit different.
Q1. Do we need to submit the passport copies of both the parents of the child. Or is only one enough (either father or mother).
Q2. We can use thumbprint of child (is it left or right for males/females)
Q3. The US passport mentions that "not valid unles signed". do we have our kid use the thumbprint for the passport. It doesnt say so on the passport that the thumbprint is okay. should we just send the unsigned passport to the consulate.
Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions.

Hi AG28

I hope these answers would help

Q1. Do we need to submit the passport copies of both the parents of the child. Or is only one enough (either father or mother).

Both copies are needed , atleast the first page

Q2. We can use thumbprint of child (is it left or right for males/females)

Right thumb impression, it will not come clear so does not matter

Q3. The US passport mentions that "not valid unles signed". do we have our kid use the thumbprint for the passport. It doesnt say so on the passport that the thumbprint is okay. should we just send the unsigned passport to the consulate
you can jsut send without signature or thumb impression.

We took two PIO cards , so went through that phase once
